What is PULSE?
PULSE cultivates a community of young servant leaders to transform Pittsburgh. We invite talented university graduates to partner with nonprofits for a year of service and leadership. PULSE Fellows serve with a Pittsburgh non-profit, live with other participants in intentional community and grow as leaders through our personal development program. Through all our activities, we equip and develop young people to be civic and community leaders with a heart for service.

Neal Donovan Joins PULSE!

Neal Donovan Joins PULSE!

PULSE is pleased to announce the hiring of Neal Donovan.  Neal will begin serving as the Recruiting Coordinator for PULSE on July 13th, 2018.

As Recruiting Coordinator, Neal will work to attract talented university graduates to the PULSE program.  In addition, Neal will manage the onboarding of PULSE fellows into the organization. Neal will work closely with Operations and Partnership Director Jonnett Maurer.

Neal arrived to Pittsburgh last August to serve it with KEYS Service Corps at the Brashear Association‘s after-school program. It was there where he developed a love and appreciation for service for its impact on the community and his personal growth. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Language and Linguistic Studies at Juniata College in 2016, Neal embraced experiential learning by serving as an English Teaching Assistant in Northern Germany through a Fulbright.

In his free time, Neal enjoys cooking, playing ultimate frisbee, and spending time with friends. Neal is excited about what PULSE does and hopes to combine his drive for community service and experiential learning by sharing the opportunities PULSE provides with prospective fellows.

Please give Neal a warm PULSE welcome.
