Emily Corbin grew up in North East, PA and gradated from Edinboro University with a degree in Applied Media Art. Emily also received a teaching certificate in Art and has served as a teacher, counselor, office assistant and freelance designer. She participated in the Experience Peru experience with the CCO and served as the Vice President of the Graphic Design Club at Edinboro. She worked with Serving Leaders.
Emily is Running with PULSE in the Pittsburgh Marathon.

What do you love about Pittsburgh?
Coming from a small town, I was unsure how I would like city life. I have come to love how diverse the cit is; there is always something to do, someone new to meet. It’s great!
What is the best part about the PULSE experience?
The best part about PULSE is the community.
What is the best thing about your nonprofit placement?
The people. I get to work with great people! I also get to put into practice what I studied while working for something I believe in.
What are some hobbies that you would like to pursue?
Ceramics, ultimate, running, dancing.
What is a favorite cheap or free activity you’ve found in Pittsburgh?
Final Fridays concerts in Schenley Park, Pick-up ultimate, Salsa lessons.
