PERM LONGIA (Mechanicsburg, PA/University of Pittsburgh ’15)
Perm Longia moved to Pittsburgh from Mechanicsburg, PA, to study Neuroscience and Philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh. He was very involved on campus at Pitt, serving as the president of the South Asian Student Association, mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters, volunteering in the Hospital Elderly Life Program at UPMC, and earning multiple awards for commitment to diversity, outstanding achievement, and more. Perm loves serving in a Pittsburgh nonprofit and living in community with other PULSE fellows. He is serving at the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh.
