Our Process

STEPS IN THE PULSE NONPROFIT PARTNER PROCESS

  1. Learn more about PULSE by reading the Nonprofit Partner General Information one-pager,  talking with current PULSE nonprofit partners or past PULSE nonprofit partners and/or contacting the Operations and Community Manager at partner@pulsepittsburgh.org.
  2. Complete a brief NONPROFIT PARTNER INTEREST FORM about your desire to learn more about a potential nonprofit partnership with PULSE.
  3. Wait for a follow up call or email from the Operations and Community Manager. 
  4. Attend a PULSE Nonprofit Partner Info Session to learn more about the terms of a PULSE partnership (cost, supervision expectations, length of term, hours/week, etc.).
  5. Fill out a NONPROFIT PARTNER APPLICATION
  6. Attend Match Day in July and conduct neutral site interviews with a few fellows that might be a good fit based upon your organizational/staffing needs.
  7. Review fellows, rank and decide if you want to extend an offer to any, all or none of the incoming fellows.
  8. Welcome fellow(s) as they start service at your organization.
