Alexandra Nigida, originally from Fairfield, Pennsylvania, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Political Science, minoring in History and receiving a certificate in Russian and East European Studies. At Pitt, Alexandra was the president of the school’s Global Human Rights Brigade and led a trip to Panama. She also worked as an intern for her local state representative. She is most looking forward to being an active member of the Pittsburgh community. In her down time, Alexandra enjoys reading, cooking, and running. She served at Manchester Academic Charter School.
