A graduate of Bryn Mawr College, Amelia Marren majored in Growth and Structure of Cities with a minor in Environmental Studies. Amelia is passionate about urban sustainability through the use of green space and wants to bring her knowledge and passion to the Pittsburgh region. This passion was cultivated through her work at PowerCorpsPHL doing environmental lands restoration work in Philadelphia parks and building a permaculture site at the North Philadelphia Peace Park. Recently, Amelia spent her summer with the Rocky Mountain Conservancy Conservation Corps, where she lived and worked in the backcountry of the Rawah National Forest restoring and preserving trails. Amelia’s hobbies include hiking, ultimate frisbee, rock climbing, and exploring new places. Amelia is a part of the Northside cohort and serves at the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
