A graduate of Allegheny College, Desmond Hargrove majored in Communication and Cultural Studies and minored in Community Justice. He is passionate about promoting education in low income households in order to help kids realize they have the potential to achieve anything they set out to do. Desmond is inspired to create positive change in impoverished neighborhoods. Leading an active lifestyle, he loves cycling and has biked over 3,000 miles. Desmond also loves video games and anime! Trying new things and gaining new experiences are what he’s all about. Desmond is part of our East End cohort and is serving at YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh as an Outreach and Impact Coordinator.
