Gabi Szabó graduated from the University of Virginia with a double-major in Chemistry and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Gabi interned at the Maxine Platzer Lynn Women’s Center for three years and organized a Summit on Radical Healing for staff and students as a part of their Senior Internship the final year. They were also involved in violence prevention and survivor support advocacy for four years and were a Peer Health Educator their last two years in university. Gabi is passionate about gender-based violence prevention and survivor support, mental health advocacy, and creating equitable and fair education systems. Their hobbies include horseback riding, crocheting, sewing/altering clothes, and mixed media art. Gabi was a member of the Northside cohort and served at the Jewish Community Center of Pittsburgh as the Program Coordinator.
