A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Grace McHale majored in Political Science and Spanish and received certificates in Latin American Studies and Global Studies. She was heavily involved in community service at Pitt, including volunteering at Sacred Heart Elementary School as an after-school program worker. Grace also was a Researcher and School Visit Coordinator at Pitt’s Center for Latin American Studies. Additionally, she served as a Spanish translator at the Birmingham Free Clinic. Grace’s hobbies include gardening, watching slam poetry, learning new languages, and cooking. She is a part of the East End cohort, and is serving at the Environmental Charter School.
