Jahqwahn Watson grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended The College of Wooster where he earned a degree in Africana Studies. At Wooster, he devoted much of his time to organizations such as the Children’s Defense Fund. Jahqwahn served as a Servant Leader intern where he led and supported students in critical and creative analysis. He also served as an intern with the Center for Diversity and Inclusion where he initiated support networks, such as the Ancestral & Indigenous Spiritualities support group, for minority and LGBTQIA+ individuals. In his free time, Jahqwahn enjoys writing, poetry, and photography. Jahqwahn is a part of the East End cohort and serves at Grounded Strategies.
