Katie grew up outside Philadelphia and graduated from Bryn Mawr College. She moved to Pittsburgh in 2017 to serve as a PULSE Fellow at PUMP. Katie is excited to join the PULSE team and provide mentorship and support to PULSE Fellows. She is passionate about creating a PULSE program that is equitable and community-driven, provides leadership opportunities to young people, and supports nonprofits in building a more just Pittsburgh region for all.
In addition to her work with PULSE, Katie also works with PUMP as the Advocacy + Public Policy Coordinator. She has also volunteered with the ACLU of Pennsylvania and multiple political campaigns. Katie spends much of her free time with her dog and her roommates, who are all PULSE Alumni. She loves reading, watching sitcoms, and reminding people to vote.
