A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Kayla majored in History and Philosophy of Science. During her time at university, Kayla was the president of the Pitt Bioethics Society and Pitt Global Public Health Brigades. She also served as an ambassador for the Pitt Center for Latin American Studies and as a PantherWELL Peer Health Educator for Pitt Student Health. She is passionate about health equity and housing justice. Kayla’s hobbies include reading, art, and playing video games. Kayla was a member of our East End cohort and served with Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh as Education Facilitator.
