A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Lalit Molleti majored in International & Area Studies (Asian Studies) and Psychology and minored in Korean, Neuroscience, and Chemistry. During his time at university, Lalit studied Korean for 3 years and went abroad to Korea to study for 3 months. He completed an honors thesis in psychology and Asian studies which earned him a special degree, a Bachelor’s in Philosophy. He was a member of the Student Civic Engagement Council (SCEC), a group of student leaders focused on creating a culture of service on Pitt’s campus. Lalit is passionate about immigrant rights, education, and ending homelessness. His hobbies include playing video games, reading books, and watching/immersing himself in Asian culture (watching Korean dramas and more). Lalit is a member of our East End cohort and is serving with Allegheny Conference on Community Development as Research Fellow.
