A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Meera Rajput majored in Psychology and minored in Economics. She was heavily involved in community service at Pitt, including serving as President of Asha for Education, where she helped host events that highlight the educational issues and poverty that underprivileged children in India face. Meera also was involved with Odyssey Online, Hindu Students Council, Psi Chi Psychology Honors Society and Vice President of the Behavioral Economics Club. She also served as an intern at the Women’s Law Project, a volunteer at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, and an instructor at Kumon Inc. Meera’s hobbies include reading, writing short stories, watching movies, exercising, and learning how to play guitar. She was a part of the Northside cohort and was serving at the Pennsylvania Innocence Project.
