Peyton Stuart graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Natural Sciences and minors in Secondary Education and Hispanic Language and Culture. After studying Latin America, engaging with the many languages of the region, and working with people from various countries (Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic), he has become passionate about supporting the region’s identity and being a more equitable global citizen. He has become an advocate for student-centered education, the elimination of standardized tests, and the proper allocation of resources to promote education equity worldwide. During his travels to Spain, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Panama, and Chile, Peyton had the opportunity to use his language abilities to talk to an entire new world of people and build connections on a global level. Peyton was a member of the South Hilltop cohort and served at the Green Building Alliance as the Green and Healthy School Outreach Coordinator.
