Sabyne Pierre, a native of Newark, NJ, completed her undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College with a major in Government and a minor in African & African American Studies. During her time at Dartmouth, Sabyne studied Africana Studies abroad in Accra, Ghana. She enjoyed her time walking backward as an Admissions Tour Guide for her school and being a choreographer for D-Step–Dartmouth’s first and only step team created by Black students. Sabyne is passionate about ending homelessness, Black Lives Matter and housing, and racial equity and racial disparities. Her hobbies include spoken word poetry, dancing/dance classes, reading, and listening to black political theory. Sabyne was a member of our Northside cohort and served with Women and Girls Foundation as GirlGov Program Associate.
