A graduate of Earlham College, Sulay Ranjit majored in Human Development & Social Relations and Studio Art and minored in Music. During his time at Earlham, Sulay served as the Convener of the Recording Arts Club, Print Designer for the Earlham Word, and the Communications & Design Assistant at the Center for Career and Community Engagement. In the summer of 2019, he volunteered whilst conducting research as a Summer Scholar at the Neighborhood Design Center. Sulay is passionate about advancing the field of art, architecture, and planning as a way to sustainably empower disadvantaged individuals and communities in developing and disaster-prone regions of the world. His hobbies include making art and music, cooking, and hiking.
