Originally from Wyomissing, PA, Zeba Ahmed graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Japanese and Sociology in 2014. While at Pitt, Zeba was involved in the Asian Studies Center, Origami Club, and the Japan-America Society of Pennsylvania. After graduation she moved to Sendai, Japan as a Fulbright Fellow where she studied economics at Tohoku University. In Sendai, Zeba also volunteered with the UN World Conference and was active in the Tohoku University Art Club. She served with PULSE at the Northside Leadership Conference alongside Jackson Bush.
