For the past 25 years, PULSE has invited about 350 talented university graduates to partner with over 125 Pittsburgh nonprofits, contributing some 500,000 hours of service to the city and its residents.

Today’s Theme: Fun on a Budget and Application Cram Session

With the March 3rd application deadline FIVE DAYS AWAY, we want to cover the FUN you have at PULSE, even while on a budget! In our last stream before the application deadline, we will tell all of our fun and ridiculous stories from PULSE. We will also break down the financials of your PULSE year: from housing to physical fitness to personal fund, we will cover it all! Plus, we will hear how the Fellows use their budget and spend their free time.
Lastly, with only five days left, use this stream as your Application Cram session: ask Recruiting Coordinator Neal Donovan any and all of your questions before you submit your application.
What have been your best/funniest memories from PULSE? What do you do in your free time? Have you volunteered anywhere outside of your partner? What is the coolest thing you have done in Pittsburgh?

With the holiday season upon us, Family and Food become more and more important.
In this stream, we will focus on the LIVE portion of PULSE: we will cover what it means to live in an intentional community and how that affects our taste buds!
What does a PULSE House look like? How do they split responsibilities? Who cooks? WHAT do they cook? How do they meal plan on a budget? What is a POTLUCK? What has been the BEST FOOD they have had/made?
